Rainbow village is half hour by car away from
Taichung City, where has been a residential military community for over half
century. With the vibrant color and vivid characters on the wall, the rainbow
village has been a well-known tourist attraction.
All of these are created and painted by Rainbow Grandpa named Huang Yung-fu, an 88-year-old vetran who came to Taiwan from Hong Kong 60 sixty years ago. To kill time, he started to paint on Aug. 2009, and he used his imagination and creation to paint animals, tests, heros, ailens, and it all became his own style.
Never would he imagine that will bring him lots of attention from people from taiwan and tourists from other countries. It looks like a wonderland , and you will not stop taking photos and you will definitely show great admiration on his creativity.
